Learning to love who you are is important in building self-esteem. So often we forget who we are when difficult times arise whether it’s a new job, a new medical diagnosis, a sick loved one, or the death of a loved one. Wikipedia: Self-esteem reflects an individual's overall subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is the decision made by an individual as an attitude towards the self. Self-esteem encompasses beliefs about oneself, as well as emotional states, such as triumph, despair, pride, and shame.
